We're pleased to introduce a new event at Jester King -- our inaugural Farm K Charity Fun Run!

Our Farm K Charity Fun Run is a 5K (3.1 mile) run/jog/walk through the 170 acres of farm land and native Hill Country land at Jester King! It will take place on Saturday, February 8th at 10:30am.

Warm-ups begin at 10:30am and the race starts at 11am.

All participants will receive:

- a free Jester King Farm K t-shirt

- tickets for a free house-made granola bar from Jester King Kitchen and a free draft beer from our brewery after the race

Coffee will be available for purchase from our friends at Figure 8 Coffee Purveyors before and after the race.

While the race is for fun and charity, we'll have special vintage beers from our cellar as prizes for the top 5 finishers.

100% of the proceeds will benefit our friends at Urban Roots and Hikes for Grain!

About Urban Roots

Urban Roost is the only farm-based youth leadership organization in Austin, Texas. Urban Roots has been empowering youth and nourishing community for more than 10 years. Urban Roots started in 2008 with just 15 teenagers and one field as a project of another youth development organization, eventually becoming an independent nonprofit in 2011. On our 3.5 acre farm in East Austin, we serve teens and young adults through paid internships that focus not just on farming, but also on their growth as leaders and good citizens.
