Business Assistant

Qualifications
2-4+ years of sales experience with operations, administration, compliance, and finance support
Familiarity with QuickBooks and Google Workspace. Asana, Ollie, 7 Shifts, and/or Anyroads a plus
Professional communication: writes clearly; can represent ownership on calls.
AA/BA preferred
Discretion with financial/HR information.
Duties
Assist Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, and Sales/Distribution Departments
Business Administration & Finance duties
Inboxes management/hygiene
Support hiring/onboarding logistics (I-9/E-Verify scheduling, checklists, systems access).
Maintain TTB/TABC/brand registration/label approval calendars; assemble packets and supporting docs.
Help with government compliance (TCEQ, Comptroller, Secretary of State, Health Dept, etc.)
Help management/communication with professional services (appraisal, legal, consultants)
Collect vendor invoices; verify
Assist with accounts payable
Assist with QuickBooks and budget maintenance
Payroll prep – Audit timesheets/tips/commissions; summarize changes/OT for payroll processor (no final submission).
Assist with COGS ordering
Track COIs, permits, and contracts; ensure document version control and renewal reminders.
Keep Google Drive foldering and file names standardized (SKUs, price lists, specs).
Assist with production margin tracking and control
Keep contracts, permits, licenses, and insurance organized with versioning and renewal reminders.
Light admin for tools such as Google Workspace, QuickBooks, 7shifts, Shopify, Union, Ollie, and Asana
Prep payroll inputs (timesheet audits, tips/commissions summaries) for Finance to process.
Assistance with administration, sales/distro, and finance SOP creation and maintenance
Maintain vendor master (W-9s, remit details, COIs, terms).
Assist with maintenance and data collection for KPIs
Assistance with insurance vendor needs, reporting, and renewals
Costing refresh: update standard costs (ingredients, packaging, freight) with quotes.
Event P&L support: compile costs/revenue; reconcile samples/comp allocations.
Chain paperwork packets (pricing, specs, COIs) and distributor portal onboarding.
Assist with new hires
Represent ownership and management in meetings and phone calls as needed
Assist ownership and management with general email and text communication as needed
Help with charity initiatives
Marketing Duties
Assist with promotional product shipping
Track beer competition calendar and submissions
Help with basic social media and marketing requirements when the Marketing Manager is not available.
Assist with PR inquiries

National & Export Sales Manager
Location: Jester King – Austin, Texas (Remote work is welcome, though occasional on-site visits will be required.)

Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience with strong knowledge of beer and the beer industry
Established network and connections within the national beer industry and distributors
Advanced sales skills with proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
Duties
Grow Jester King’s National & Export presence through strategic planning and execution
Ensure brand representation in chain off-premise retailers (HEB, WFM, TWM, Spec’s, Twin Liquors, etc.)
Manage out-of-state distributor relationships
Support ownership with production/sales forecasting using sales data
Represent Jester King at out-of-state events and festivals
Conduct wholesaler market to support sales efforts and strengthen relationships
Establish and implement a national distribution plan with wholesalers to build core brand visibility
Secure placements in key chain and high-profile national accounts
Manage inventory efficiently using Ollie Order/Ops and ensure alignment with production
Accurately forecast budgets to support sales goals and production planning
Develop and execute an out-of-state business plan that grows Jester King through three product pillars:
Core Brands – approachable, consistent, and recognizable
Innovative & Modern Styles – seasonal, trend-forward, and exciting
Legacy Fruited Mixed Fermentation Brands – farmhouse tradition and authenticity
Expand into select markets by partnering with value-aligned distributors
Balance dependability, innovation, and artisanal tradition to maximize brand impact
Build and re-establish wholesaler relationships by:
Maintaining strong partnerships across all markets
Identifying gaps and strengthening communication channels
Balancing direct sales growth with long-term wholesaler engagement
Break into / advance key high-profile accounts by:
Targeting national partners such as Whole Foods, Total Wine, Trader Joe’s, Costco, H-E-B, Kroger, Spec’s, and others
Creating tailored strategies, presentations, and product placements to expand visibility nationwide
Manage chain mandates by:
Maintaining accurate chain cost files
Coordinating with Production to avoid inventory gaps
Partnering with the Texas Sales Manager to deepen integration into existing chain accounts
Protecting and growing current placements in H-E-B, Whole Foods, and other retail partners
Lead budget forecasting by:
Managing and presenting accurate, actionable forecasts to ownership
Analyzing sales trends, monitoring market performance, and building financial models
Collaborating with ownership, finance, and production to set realistic sales targets
Tracking progress, adjusting strategies, and optimizing profitability through disciplined financial planning
Route Sales Representative

Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy.
Inspect delivery vehicle daily looking for anything problematic (low tire pressure, tire wear, dents etc.) and report any abnormalities. Refuel vehicle as needed.
Follow rules and regulations of the road at all times.
Cellar / Warehouse Worker

Perform/assist with cellar work in the brewery – specifically CIPs, transfers, carbonating beer, dry hopping, keg cleaning, milling grain, kegging, canning, bottling, labeling, forklifting, cleaning, organizing
Perform/assist with distribution orders – specifically building pallets and orders for Texas and out of state distribution, loading delivery vans, following pick lists, communicating with drivers, sales reps. and distribution management, data entry
