Front of House (FOH) Employee - Part-time


  • Knowledge of Jester King history, philosophy, core values, current events

Line/Prep Cook


  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.

  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.

  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.


We are currently operating Wednesday through Sunday with shifts available for prep and service. Current hourly positions are from 25-30 hours per week, with the possibility of expanding to full time.

FOH Manager

We are currently hiring for an experienced manager to join our Front of the House management team.

POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Hourly, Non-exempt

Front of House Responsibilities

  1. Perform Tasting Room opening, while open and closing duties as outlined in the Front of House Operations Guide

    1. Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

  2. Ensure consistent high quality customer service and hospitality

    2. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests

  3. Maintain a clean, safe and well organized environment

    1. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanliness

    2. Make certain a professional restaurant appearance, including proper staff attire, and appearance standards

  4. Ensure that order taking and point of sale operations flow smoothly

  5. Write up disciplinary actions upon FOH employees during management shifts, when required, in accordance with company policies

  6. Help ensure full employee and customer compliance with all liquor and public safety laws

  7. Assist with menu planning, preparation, and upkeep

  8. Ensure that customer facing staff are knowledgeable and friendly

  4. Assist with data entry and management pertaining to FOH operations including key financial metrics

  5. Work with department managers to maintain, update, and improve department process guides (SOPs)

  6. Assist with keeping staff updated about industry news, local beer news, beer news articles, local beer events, etc.

  7. Assist General Manager with conducting performance reviews

  8. Perform additional duties as designated by the General Manager
