Front of House (FOH) Employee - Part-time


  • Knowledge of Jester King history, philosophy, core values, current events

  • Prior experience in the service industry, ideally in a brewery setting
  • Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification within 30 days of hire
  • Food Handler and TABC certified
  • Understanding of Toast POS System
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, diverse, and evolving environment
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet

Line/Prep Cook


  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.

  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.

  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.


We are currently operating Wednesday through Sunday with shifts available for prep and service. Current hourly positions are from 25-30 hours per week, with the possibility of expanding to full time.

  3. Ensure all BOH areas are clean and organized by the end of the shift.

  7. Working / coordinating with Back of House & Front of House staff as needed to help ensure excellent cleanliness and hospitality to our guests.

  8. Attend kitchen and open book management meetings if and when necessary.

  9. Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.

  10. Reports to BOH management and the leadership team.
