Summer Solstice Sunset Goat Yoga
Join us to celebrate the Summer Solstice with yoga, goats, and the beauty of the Texas Hill Country!
Friday, June 21st at 7:30 pm
As the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice marks a time of abundance, light, and reflection. We invite you to embrace this special day by connecting with the profound energy of nature through yoga. Yoga, with its roots in the deep spiritual traditions of India, teaches us to find balance and unity within ourselves and our surroundings.
Our unique twist on yoga practice is the delightful companionship of our 75 Nigerian dwarf goats. These gentle souls will join you throughout the entire class, offering a reminder of the simplicity and grounding nature of life. You'll have the opportunity to connect with them during the session as well as at the beginning and end of each session, adding an extra layer of serenity and mindfulness to your practice.
In the spirit of the Summer Solstice, we invite you to harmonize your body, mind, and soul with the gentle presence of these goats, and to reflect upon the centuries of wisdom that have shaped this transformative practice. Let the extended daylight and the serene sunset of the solstice inspire your journey toward inner peace and balance.
The Summer Solstice Sunset Session will be taught by Faye; yoga teacher from our neighbor, Del Sol Yoga + Kung Fu.
Tickets are $25 + processing fees. We have no bad weather backup, so if necessary, we'll cancel with full refunds.
The class will be held in the goat pen. We suggest that you don't bring your nice yoga mat (pro tip: bring a towel to put under your old mat so that it doesn't get as dirty). We will have yoga mats for rent for $5 (limited availability) and plenty of beer for sale at the goat pen entrance.
Please arrive at the goat pen at 7:00 pm for check-in and beer purchase. The yoga session will begin promptly at 7:30 pm and end by 8:30 pm.
No outside food or alcohol. No dogs allowed. All attendees must purchase a ticket.
