We're very excited to announce the release of Devin the Dude's Brew -- a German-style Pilsner brewed in collaboration with Omnipollo and legendary Houston hip hop artist Devin the Dude!

We've been friends and have had great admiration for Omnipollo, particularly co-founder Henok Fentie, for a long time. When talking collaboration with Henok, he asked if we'd be interested in brewing our version of Devin the Dude's Brew, Omnipollo's collaboration with hip hop pioneer Devin Copeland, aka Devin the Dude. When we heard this, we couldn't have been more excited. A good portion of our brewing team hails from Houston and have been life-long fans of Devin the Dude. Throw on top of that the chance to brew one of our most favorite styles of beer -- German-style Pilsner -- and we were completely stoked.

Devin the Dude's Brew was single-decoction mashed with softened Hill Country well water and 100% Weyermann Pilsner malt. The wort was boiled with Tettnanger and Hallertauer Mittelfruh hops. We primary fermented very cold then slowly lagered the beer for eight weeks prior to packaging on June 8th.

We've loving the fermentation character and balance we're getting off of this beer. Think yeast rolls, Parkerhouse dough, and cornbread crust spliced with Bermuda grass and Jade Oolong tea, that finishes oh so soft. We're going to be drinking cases of this stuff this summer. 5.2% abv.
