Jester King Reimagined

Being closed for the last two and half months has given us a chance to think deeply about what Jester King would look like when it reopens. We knew things would be much different. After much thought, we've decided to reopen Jester King in the mold of a park offering picnic grounds and hiking trails for our guests to enjoy across our 165 acres of Hill Country land!

We'll reopen this Friday, May 29th at Noon with six outdoor green spaces spread across a 250 yard radius for our guests to enjoy (click on names for a photo of each green space).

The Beer Garden -- the live oak tree grove next to the brewery, familiar to many of our prior guests

The Hop Yard -- shaded green space next to our nascent hop yard along our farm trail

The Goat Pen -- more shaded space next to the dwelling space of our magnificent goats

The Vineyard -- picnic space beneath an enormous live oak tree in our now two-year-old vineyard

The Pasture -- the wide open expanse looking to the south of Jester King Kitchen. Shaded tables line the western boundary of live oaks and ash junipers.

The Canopy -- a beautiful, densely shaded grove hiding in plain sight at Jester King for the last decade

Joining these six green spaces will be five more lands opening in the near future, connected by a two mile nature trail. Guests will soon get to experience the full breadth of Jester King's natural beauty and wildlife.

We're excited to begin rebuilding community around great people, food, and drink in a beautiful environment, and for you to begin to rejoin us as we embark on the next phase of our continuous evolution at Jester King.

How to Visit!

To begin, visiting Jester King will be by reservation only! We believe this to be the safest way to proceed for this time and place. Guest may book online (https://www.exploretock.com/jesterkingbrewery/) and will select the green space they wish to sit.

How it Works!

Once seated, guests will order food and drink from a full online menu accessed by a QR code at the table. When your order is ready, you'll receive a text and pick up your order from our pole barn. Our pole barn, once a giant beer hall, has been cleared out and will only have limited tables for ADA seating.

How Will I Be Safe?

Not only will all seating be outdoors, physically-distanced, and by reservation only, on top of that we are limiting visits to finite sessions:

Thursday & Friday -- 3-5pm & 6-9pm (limit 100 total guests per session)

Saturday & Sunday -- 12-4pm & 5-9pm (limit 200 total guests per session)

Between sessions we will be doing a hard close for cleaning and sanitization. We will also be continuously cleaning and sanitizing during the sessions.

Reservations are limited to six guests per table. Please no combining of tables.

We will not be using glassware or cutlery. All draft beer will be served in biodegradable cups. Bottles, cans and crowlers will be available too.

We require that all guests wear protective face coverings when not seated at their table. JK staff will wear face coverings and gloves. We also recommend sunscreen since all our seating will be outdoors.

We won't be accepting cash. All ordering and payments will be virtual.

Goat visiting won't be permitted at this time, and there will be no brewery or farm tours.

Our playground equipment has been removed. We ask that children please stay with their families at their tables.

Hand sanitizer will be available from our friends at Revolution Spirits and Desert Door Distillery.

Can I Still Get Curbside Pickup?

Yes! Our contactless curbside pickup will still be open seven days a week from 12-8pm. Order online (https://www.toasttab.com/jesterkingbrewery/v3) or call 512-661-8736.

We sincerely thank you for the support we've received over the last two and half months. Seeing our community rally around Jester King and our craft brewery peers has been incredibly encouraging.

We're very excited to welcome you back to a new and different Jester King -- one that's been reimagined for safety and to bring us a step closer to fulfilling our potential of being a beautiful, expansive outdoor space for guests to enjoy food and drink connected to a time, place, and people.
